 | Genuine Salvation
You must repent of your sin, believe and trust in Jesus as you would a parachute to save your life if you are to spend and eternity in Heaven. But faith in Christ also allows you to live on earth in a daily relationship with The Heavenly Father who loves you unconditionally. As an all-knowing and all-powerful Father, you can trust Him to lead you the right way. The issue of genuine salvation will be taught often. |

The Importance of a Biblical Worldview
God designed you to have a relationship with Him. Your intimacy with Him will provide the foundation you need to live a life that will bring honor to God in whatever situation you might find yourself in. His Word, the Bible is inspired, infallible, and powerful. It is what you must base your worldview off of if you are a Christian. Our worldview is the lenses in which we see the world, circumstances, God, philosophy, science...etc. Students will be challenged to look through the correct lense now so that when they leave highschool, they will have a solid foundation. We will work with families to see that this Biblical Worldview is taught. We believe the family is the first and most important spiritual caretaker of the teenager. |

Biblical Roles in the Home
To have "authority" you must be under authority. The parents, teachers, and leaders that God has placed in your life are there to guide and guard your potential and your life. One of the greatest lessons you can learn is how to respect and honor those who are in authority over you starting with your parents. This is the gauge of how intimate a walk a student really has with the Lord. |
Biblical Leadership
Leadership can be learned. Even the shyest of people can be great leaders in the body of Christ. This concept is the key to unlocking the cure to complacency in the local church. Jesus showed us the perfect example, servant leadership. |
Discovering God's Will through His Word
Every Christian has at least one God-given gift that is to be used in the body of Christ effectively. Most youth have no idea what their gift might be and we want to provide tools to help them find out. Once we understand God's desires for our lives and pursue them wholeheartedly using our spiritual gifts, amazing things can be done for Jesus' sake. |
Christian Apologetics
The local church needs to get back to the idea of "out-thinking, out-living, and out-dieing" the lost. We certainly do not mean for this to happen in a prideful way. This youth minsitry will strive to teach our students to "love the Lord will all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength" (Luke 10:27). Youth will be challenged and equipped with Christian apologetics, so that they will "be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have" (1 Peter 3:15). |
Biblical Evangelism
Each youth will be equipped to share their faith simply, effectively, and Biblically. Opportunities will also be provided for students to put their knowledge into practice. |
