| Dr. Michael Zimmerman - Pastor
Mike Zimmerman has been Pastor of First Baptist since February of 1992. Mike originally came to First Baptist as the Associate Pastor in 1990. He began his ministry in 1976 in Rosenberg, Texas, as Assistant Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church. Simultaneously, his wife Julia began her career of putting Mike through school as he attended and graduated from Wharton County Junior College, Houston Baptist University, and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Mike has pastored churches in Van Vleck, Ganado, and Schulenburg, Texas. Mike and Julia enjoy their home in the country a few miles outside of Bay City.

| Daren Butler - Minister of Worship
Daren came to First Baptist as Minister of Worship in September 2008. He previously lived in Bay City from kindergarten through 4th grade. In 1984, he received Christ as Savior and was baptized by Dr. W. D. Baker here at First Baptist. Daren graduated from Vanderbilt University in 1998, then Truett Seminary and Baylor University in 2004. Daren enjoys playing football, baseball, and basketball, is learning guitar, composes music, and hopes that he, the worship ministry, and the church will grow as evangelists and disciple-makers in the Bay City area.

| Jordan Brown - Director of Children's Ministries
Jordan became our Director of Children's Ministries at the end of the summer in 2010, though she has been active in FBC's Children's Ministry for many years, including serving as the Children's Ministry's Summer Coordinator for the two summers prior to becoming Director of Children's Ministries. Jordan also teaches Special Education in the Bay City schools, currently serving at Linnie Roberts Elementary. Jordan has a passion for teaching children about God and helping them come to know His Son Jesus as their Savior.
